When do we need to sign up our child for the next school year?
The registration process begins in January. You can call Lutheran High for a copy of the Enrollment Application or print one from this website. Just click on "Admission Information".
When does the school day start and end?
The student's day begins at 7:55 a.m.and ends at 3:20 p.m.
When can students arrive on campus?
Students can arrive as early as 7:00 a.m.
Are there provisions for after school care?
Provisions will be made on a need basis with individual students.
What is the dress code?
Lutheran High requires all students to wear a prescribed wardrobe which may be purchased through Campus Club as well as any department stores. Contact the school office or refer to the student handbook for more details.
Does the school provide transportation?
At this time we do not offer bus service. We encourage parents to carpool. Call the school office for LHS families who live in your neighborhood.
Does the school have a lunch program?
A hot lunch program is provided at LHS. Lunch is to be eaten only in the cafeteria during the designated lunch hour.
How does the school communicate with parents?
At mid-quarter and end of quarter you will be sent a report documenting your child's current grades. Included with this mailing will be announcements of upcoming events, items of special interest, and infomation about school activities. You can also check this website for the most recent News & Notes, sports, music, and activities schedules, etc. You can also find classroom information about grades and assignments on Edline.
Are there academic scholarships available?
All of Lutheran High's financial aid is need-based.
How does the schedule work?
Students attend each of their eight classes every day. Credit is given by semester.
What is a Lutheran?
Lutheranism gets its name from Martin Luther. Luther was the first to break from the Catholic Church due to its corruption in his day. Lutherans are Christians who believe that the Bible is THE WORD OF GOD. They believe that people are saved by faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ apart from any merit or works of their own.
