Welcome to Mrs. Bahr's Website!
Greetings! My name is Mrs. Bahr. This is the start of my 17th year of teaching and 2nd year at LHS. I have enjoyed being the school registrar as well as teaching math and religion. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations but soon realized my passion for teaching math. I quickly enrolled at Rockhurst University, completed my Master’s in Education, and have been teaching ever since. Post graduate coursework, I have continued my education to get the certification required to teach dual-credit high school/college courses. In addition, I completed my colloquy program in June 2023, which has helped continue my knowledge of Lutheran doctrine and teaching as well as become an LCMS Called Worker of the Ministry. I have had experience in teaching 6th grade math through Calculus. This year, I will be teaching Applied Christianity for seniors, Geometry to freshmen and sophomores, and Advanced Algebra 2 to Sophomores and Juniors. I am delighted to continue combining my passion for teaching and my love of Christ as I we progress through this 2023-2024 school year at The Lutheran High School of Kansas City.
God's Blessings,
Mrs. Bahr
