Registration Fee
A non-refundable Registration Fee is due at the time of the submission of the Enrollment Application.
New Student Registration Fee: $275
Re-Enrollment Registration Fee: $275 ($225 if paid by February 1st; $350 if paid after June 1)
There is a $100 discount on the Registration Fee when a family's second child enrolls at The Lutheran High School Kansas City
Credit Card Usage Fee
A 3% processing fee will be applied to any transaction using a credit card. We accept VISA or MasterCard.

TUITION DISCOUNTS:
The Lutheran High School of Kansas City offers an Association Church member discount, multiple child discount as well as if tuition is paid either in a one (1) or two (2) payment plan option.
Association Church Discount
Level A discount of $1000
Level B discount of $500
Multiple Child Discount
A family will receive a 2nd child discount of 20% on the tuition.
A family will receive a 3rd child discount of 40% on the tuition.
Please note, the multiple child discount does not apply to fees or other charges.
PAYMENT PLAN DISCOUNT:
Option 1: One (1) Payment Plan. A 3% discount is given when the tuition is paid by August 1st. The discount is only applied to the tuition.
Option 2: Two (2) Payment Plan. A 2% discount is given when half (i.e. 1/2) the tuition is paid by August 1st and the second half (i.e. 1/2) is paid by January 1st. The discount is only applied to the tuition.
Option 3: Monthly Payment Plan must use ACH debit plan. The Payments begin in June prior to the school year and the calculations will have the payments completed in May.
Please note, if your family requires an Alternate Payment Plan, please contact the Executive Director. The Alternate Payment Plan must be in writing and signed by the Executive Director.

NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID
The Lutheran High School of Kansas City makes ever effort to make education education accessible by assisting families who demonstrate financial need. Need-based Financial Aid is determined through FACTS - an independent third-party company. Applications are due by April 20th.

MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Limited awards are awarded to incoming freshmen who have exhibited and are committed to academic excellence. Financial need is not a consideration. In order to be eligible for scholarships, students must be enrolled before April 20th.
Rising Knight Scholarship (No Application Required)
This one-time award is given students who attended a local LCMS elementary school. (Valedictorian - $1000; 3.5+ High Honors GPA - $750; 3.0 Honors GPA - $500)
Knight Merit Scholarship
A limited number of scholarships are awarded to any incoming student who has exhibited and is committed to academic excellence. This scholarship is renewable for all four years based off performance. Applications must be submitted by March 1 for priority consideration.
