Welcome to the 2023-2024 schoolyear!
The LHS Handbell class is a great opportunity for students to participate in the musical arts regardless of their experience and ability. The instructor will work individually with each student to help him/her grow in their love and appreciation of music. Basic music theory will be taught on a regular basis. Students will have the opportunity to perform on a regular basis for school chapels, concerts and off-campus events. Annual performances include Sunday morning church services at local churches, school concerts, Christmas concert at a local church (TBD), Crown Center performance and the yearly 5 day spring music tour to other cities around the country. A calendar/schedule of performances will be distributed to students at the beginning of the year. Some performances may be added throughout the year, but students will be given at least one month's notice so they can plan their schedule. Since each student is responsible for a specific part of the music, participation at every performance is
