ART CLUB:

Who: Any student interested in any aspect of the visual arts

What: Students will plan and engage in a number of activities that may include painting at a local nursing home, trips to the Nelson-Atkins Museum, open art rooms, movie opportunities as well as other ideas which appeal to members. Students typically help with set design and creation for the drama productions and may also help with dance décor on occasion.

When: Art Club meets once a month, the first Thursday of the month, from 3:30-4:30.

-paint and/or carve pumpkins
-open art room days
-judge the Elementary Art/Celebrate the Arts Competition
-make art club t-shirt designs for this year's art club shirt
-art movie days
-guest artists
-window murals
